Election Prediction

Today's polls still have the candidates almost neck-and-neck. So let's say Election Eve ends with an average of all polls like this:

Kerry - 48%
Bush - 49%
Undecided/Nader/Whatever - 3%

I say tomorrow will look like this:

Kerry - 55%
Bush - 45%

Of Kerry voters, 80% will be registered/likely voters who have supported Kerry for quite some time and feel very strongly that he is the right man for this job. Another 15% will be new voters who registered mainly because they cannot stand Bush and think Kerry is either a decent guy or the lesser of two evils. The remaining 5% will be either "undecideds" who realize in the voting booth that Bush is a moron, or secret Kerry supporters who lied about supporting Bush to avoid alienating family, friends, or their employer.

Of Bush voters, 85% will be registered/likely voters who have supported Bush for quite some time and feel very strongly that God personally selected him to lead the country and destroy the Bill of Rights. Another 10% will be new voters whose parents purchased them a BMW with their tax break in exchange for a vote for Bush. The remaining 5% will have either accidentally voted for Bush or would have voted for Kerry if they realized Bush was going to lose.
