Dual Action!

A while back, Spray 'n Wash Dual Action Laundry Stain Remover (TM) was on sale, so I bought a bottle. While I am responsible for laundry in the house, I don't give a lot of care to pre-treating stains. (Which begs the question, why the hell did I buy a stain remover in the first place?)

But I am a bit of a clumsy eater, big surprise, and tend to drop a lot of food on my shirts (and pants, and shoes, etc.) so I thought it might come in handy. And indeed, I have this really cute pink t-shirt that has been victim to several food-dropping incidents. It came out of the wash recently with a small grease stain due to pizza or something. I was disappointed, given the cuteness and newness of the shirt, and decided to wash it again, using my new Spray 'n Wash Dual Action Laundry Stain Remover (TM). And hot damn, it worked! On a set-in grease stain, no less!

So I started using it on everything and that shit works like you would not believe. Whites whiter, colors brighter, whatever.

I was wearing the aforementioned cute pink t-shirt again yesterday while eating pizza (again - do you see a trend?) and spilled sauce all over it. 'No worries, mate,' I thought, channeling Crocodile Dundee. 'I'll take care of it with my Dual Action liquid.' Once we got home, I put the shirt in the sink and stain-removed enthusiastically, getting the Spray 'n Wash all over my hands in the process. I rinsed my hands and started to put the bottle away when I suddenly saw the tiny graphic on the bottom of the front label. It looked oddly like a little skeleton hand.

I looked more closely and it was indeed a little skeleton hand dipped into a bowl of what was presumably Spray 'n Wash Dual Action Laundry Stain Remover (TM). Underneath the nifty graphic, the warning read: Corrosive to Eyes! Harmful if swallowed! Skin irritant!

Now, call me old-fashioned, but if something EATS THE FLESH OFF MY BONES, I'd say it's doing a bit more than irritating my skin. But what the hell, it works so good, that's a chance I'm willing to take.
